Logically, they will wanna release TicWatch 5 with WearOS3, then, some 2 months later update the TicWatch3 versions.

If they change their mind and don't release the update it would be in violation of Australia Consumer Law and whilst Aussies can report the company to the ACCC it might be better to teach Mobvoi a lesson and any other companies making false claims by starting a class action suite.

Never again. I was one of the few people using Ticwatch Pro and then Pro 3. I was waiting for WearOS3, because they said, they would release it. But the thing is, every single day, there are people asking about WearOS3. And they just ignore it. No communication at all. So yeah. Mobvoi had it in the past. But they lost it. It's time to move on. Sadly...

About time that the W5+ chipset was in use. Looking forward to seeing the review.

Supposedly the reason for the foot dragging on wear os 3 is the lack of Google assistant/Alexa support. So why not make a workaround? Their watches aren't complete crap but the way they treat their customers is horrendous.

Phil, 22 Jan 2023They never promised that....Bulls..t . One of the reasons I bought the pro 3 ultra was because of their numerous posts on "working on OS3 for the ultra and pro3 " .now they're backpedaling. Scumbag company that doesn't care about it's user base .

I purchased most of the Ticwatches up to and including the pro 3. I was unsatisfied with the Pro 3 and the promised update to Wear OS3 never arrived (still hasn't) so I purchased the Huawei 3 instead — by Far the better choice!

Phil, 22 Jan 2023They never promised that...."Phil", you're a liar, like your co-workers at Mobvoi.

                  https://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobvoi-confirms-Wear-OS-3-0-availability-for-the-TicWatch-Pro-3.544350.0.html

Now, should anyone have believed the lies of a company like this, in the first place? Obviously not. This is a notorious "release and forget", bargain bin brand.

Phil, 22 Jan 2023It stopped working because it didn't get an update they never promised? What are you, a mobvoi rep lying here to save face? They did promise that and stated a few months ago on their forums that they're working on it. And their crappy watches all have many issues, like location draining a ridiculous amount of battery for no valid reason a few days after you buy it.

My fiancee bought me the Ticwatch Pro 3 for a wedding gift. Now I can't use it cause they haven't made good on their promise to deploy a Wear OS3 update. Probably can't sell it now either. Incredibly frustrating and won't condone or recommend this brand or support of it. If GSM wanted my ad traffic they'd through this brand under the bus where it belongs.

Until they deploy wearOS 3 on the ticwatch pro ultra like they promised, no one should buy their watches. Wearos3 was supposed to come in 2022 and never arrived. Let's see how it pans out.

Anyway, the rotating crown certainly is a great addition. Hopefully they add ECG this time too or a beefier battery.

This company is obviously too busy making new watches to be bothered to roll out Wear O3 for their Watch 3 Pro models - Serious lack of communication and dedication for people who bought their previous product will be their downfall. I will never buy Mobvoi/ticwatch products again.
