It will ran slow after the update constant tracking including your phone capabilities even if you don't
Anonymous, 17 Jan 2023Just another way to track your customers, Google. As if phone, web and maps were not enough...and what would google track that info for? you're acting like they're going to come kidnap their users or something, when in reality, singular users aren't worth much to google.
AnonD-1022549, 17 Jan 2023I guess they took the "G Spot" concept seriously...the G Spot name was a joke, the product doesnt have an actual name yet.

It's up to each of the manufacturers whether they'll implement the technology into their tracker or not.

A lot of people abuse this from apple tracking thing. They use it to track people by placing that ting on them by secret and then track them. They even set it on a car somewhere and then track the people.
For mobile brands they dont need this thing to track there customers as these tracking systems are built in the phone anyways. Like the system of find your phone.
It's just a tool for customers to do crime with it. I dont see any other use for it and there are gadgets that you can have on your keys to find them anyways and are not so difficult as there is like 2 objects that can find each other in some low radios.
The only way it can compete is if it is able to use all of the androids in the world to track it like Apple airtags. Since most Android phones do not have the latest Android software updates, this seems impossible. Trackers like this can only work in a homogenous system like Apple's ecosystem.
AnonD-1022549, 17 Jan 2023I guess they took the "G Spot" concept seriously...they probably are making one, however it likely wont be called G spot, since the name originated from a sht post. it probably have a name like nest tag, nest track, nest pin, pixel pin, pixel tag, pixel track, or something else.
now that I think of it, the name "pixel Pin" sounds really good and rolls off the tongue quite well
