Here it says it has Indian variant has 5.000 mAh battery, but on the Indian website and event they said 4.980 mAh. Either they are wrong, or GSMArena is wrong.

Xiaomi the 6.67" company...look at their models dizzying array of the same thing with minor changes all with the same display and keep moving the selfie (even that 'differentiation' has pretty much vanished) or change charging speed and no wonder their sales momentum has declined especially in the last 2 quarters

My cousin bought the Sony Xperia Z. Same chipset as my nexus 4, the Snapdragon S4, but very different experience.
My phone run out of battery while he's still in 40%-50%.
He's "bloated" Sony UI is also smoother than my necus 4.
So, it's not about pure vs bloated. It's about pure vs bloated vs optimized.
In this regards sony, Xiaomi, oppo, vivo is very well optimized beyond a pure android.

Having to pick just from Apple and Samsung would be an instant no for me.
Moto X40 would be an option if price will be simmilar to chinese market.

People rarely buy unlocked phones.
I have NF... moreMan same byrocracy thing works in Europe as well even here in Slovakia.
But many people in our store rather buy without contract than overpaying something to a network carrier.
For example A53 by Samsung cost as low as 305 euros here in Slovakia up to a 591 eur depends on vendor you shop in.
Because i run own shop i can have it from as low as 105 euros. The buying price of used one. New one with 2 years of warranty starts at 180 if i buy from own store but thats different sort.
Above said 305 up to 591 by 65 vendors which have this phone for sale.
At least you have no 2 years of contract by carrier and when you leaves you have to pay a very expensive fines. They litterary rob you and shed you from skin.
Thats not a very nice so its not cheap as its cheap. Cheap and cheap in this comparison are two very different things.

Samsung bloatware is the worst because it cost most disk space and most apps runs backround greatly sloving your device.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2023It isn't $300. It is 25000inr. You can get moto edge 30 for 22k inr or edge 30 pro for 32... moreahh you are right then better buy moto edge if you chose them.
for me its better this redmi note 12 because easy spare parts when phone broken after warranty expired (future prof), and easy to sell in my country without losing so much value.
also i have bad experience with moto
