Just few years ago they were using Samsung node. From iphone 7 they started using TSMC exclusive, and there are reports Apple want to go back to use Samsung node again.
Apple just Choose best node thats it, What TSMC achieve is their Hardwork.

This is why qualcomm.often goes to samsung semicon.
Even wasting more silicon, price is still lower.

I've been using Poco F4 GT about a year now (powered by SD 8gen1). The performance for gaming is great. But yeah, i can fry egg with it after a while. Using phone cooler / radiator is a must. "Expected" heating issue from Samsung. 🤷🏻♂️

8G2 actually is overheating due the increased ammount of Big Cores.
Meanwhile.. why 8G3 is using SAMSUNG? Better give them to them the 7G2 or 7G3 to test it before going back.

Why Samsung? Did Snapdragon forget 8Gen1? Samsung just ruined it. All Samsung manufactured 8GEn1 chipsets had heating issues.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 20238gen2 and sd870 are non heat issue soc8 gen 2 cpu is same as 8g1 and 888, it use lot of power, but its really powerfull even throttled it will still give good perfomance, gpu is really efficient though, during gaming you will use less power due to efficient gpu, but any cpu intensive task 8 g2 will use same power as 8G1

Wrong snap gen1 plis has no heating issue or throttling ,8 gen 2 is worst
