When will this hell end? It's so disappo... moreWith these prices, I think they were cutting costs in the camera department to hit certain price points and still including a great 1440p display.
To me, these are not cameraphones. These are flagship killers focusing on display and chipset over cameras, and that's okay.
Of course storage and RAM markups are still very much prevalent, that's what I'm complaining about along with no sd card slot

Everything is good here. But camera sensor in redmi k60 made me upset. Omnivision.
K60e has better one Sony imx598 which is superior and which was used in iqoo 7 India.

If they do rebrand the K60 then it will probably be at least $100 more than last year's Poco F4 so the price will be going up significantly.

This time it's even shaped as periscope lens to trick people into buying this shit for the cameras! Just give us the periscope with a bit of a price bump, or make it only so the pro+ version has it... If you wanna cheap out then don't even bother with these 2mpx Macro/DOF bs sensors

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2022Still denies OEMs think snapdragon 8 is better than mediatek? LOL Last years, OEM didn't think 8 Gen 1 (not the plus one) was better than 9000!
Every OEM known both 888 and 8 Gen 1 were bad but were forced to buy many!
Results were : devices with throttling issues!
Qualcomm has licences and can preasure OEM...
They let Mediatek sell lower end (with less benefices), so they have excuse if someone accuse them of anticoncurrential behavior : look Mediatek is number 1...but forget to say : in term of number of soc, but far behind in term of revenus!
At least with 8 Gen 2, they provide a good soc and...AV1 support (3 years After Mediatek!)
Something many journalists nearly never emphasis...thanks you for the trip in Hawaii!

When comes to this mid - high end... moreTecno isnt newcomer, They are older than Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo etc. Its just they dont use Qualcomm soc, only Old MTK soc, thats why you see their flagship only when mtk has flagship soc.

Remember... moreSometime having really powerfull gpu with lower clock do help, Sd 8G2 gpu use arond 7W but playing normal game use just 3W (sd 695 level) and heavy games like Genshini around 5W. Dimensity 9000 use lot of power achieving same thing.
Cheaper soc is Dimensity 8100/8200 these Dimensity 9000 series are as expensive as any flagship soc from Qualcomm, there is a reason why no Midrange use them.

Remember, this price is for China only even Xiaomi 13 series. The global variants will have more expensive price and he wants cheap price with decent specs like D9000 or D9000+. Maybe for him, the GPU of D9000 and D9000+ is more than enough for "just Android games". Not PC games level.
Don't forget that the GPU of D9000 and D9000+ is also powerful for its price. Let alone D9200.

Xelomot, 28 Dec 2022I'm very pleased, can't wait for poco f5 (k60 most likely). It's not a bad upgrade.It might be the k60e as the k60 is a lot more expensive (38% more) than the k40s on which the Poco F4 was based so it will be a big price hike for the Poco f5 if it's a rebranded k60
