I've had my bad experience as well with the bootloop. If you want high end then go for apple or samsung. For midrange tablets or phones, there are many options.

I had a Google Nexus 7 (2012) tablet. In 2015 Google's 'updates' turned it into an unusable brick. Once bitten, twice shy; NEVER buy any Google hardware product.

Why should anyone buy a Pixel tablet when iPad and Samsung tab support external monitor, keyboard and mouse?
