Anonymous, 23 Dec 2022and are you going to pay flagship price for flagship level sensors? There are many specifications (and prices?) of 50MP (and 48MP) sensors. Plus, in midrange smartphones, one has to cut corners and prioritize features. Maybe a 60hz screen instead of 120hz, for better imaging sensors. Lower storage, buy with SD card support. IP protection removal for something else.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2022What the heck? Ain't this old phone by now to talk or review? 5G version is released in Sep, not the older 4G
Anonymous, 21 Dec 2022M51 was good,do not generalize.Do M51 have 4GB RAM version? Try understanding the comment first before making yourself look foolish.
It has a really good camera for the price I was actually surprised how good the camera was for the fact that this is a budget phone the screen is excellent with good colors battery life will last you all day from my personal experience I'm a heavy user and I couldn't kill this phone e in a day I also like that the phone doesn't have any bugs and it doesn't lag and you also get ram plus on the phone so overall this phone is excellent especially if you get it on a prepaid carrier good job samsung

This is a very disappointing device from Samsung, especially given the purchase price. I'm fine with the design and with the hardware except for the very crappy screen. GSMArena claims it's "fine" but it isn't at all for €300. The blacks are the worst ones I've ever seen meaning that the contrast is crappy at best. Only the colours are just ok and as usual with "budget" Samsung's, there is no way to adapt it. The build is good, no complaints on that part. With the previous generation at least you had an Amoled screen on the 4G versions, now there is only one panel for all versions, a very, very mediocre LCD one. If it would have been sold at around €200 I would have been more positive. Same comments apply to the even lower versions of the A series. If you have a tight budget you can get much better devices elsewhere. Samsung became a brand that sells it's name and tries too much to be like apple, a crappy premium brand selling air...just as apple

Anonymous, 19 Dec 2022u can get pocof3/f4(sd870) for this price point F4 for the same price? No way. F4 is miles better device, almost a flagship, except camera.
Samsung should make mid rangers with dual 50MP Sensors, with ultrawide (135 degrees with autofocus) (for macro) and 3.5x zoom. Those should be sufficient to cover most situations. And the higher res sensors should help zoom in with minimum loss of quality.

Seems like most of the phones with auto restart problem are using the Exynos 9611. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the A33 I just bought won't have the same issue because it is also using Exynos.

There are tons of affected users including myself have faced this issue. Samsung pretended a nothing wrong happened approach. I gave Samsung one last chance by buying another phone from them and this time its from A series the A52s 5G. M series is known to cheap out in quality in order to be competitive in price sensitive emerging markets. It is better to stay away from Samsung "M series" altogether.

UK model is capped at 4GB physical ram only.
Recently tested the device for a few hours. Initially I was impressed by the display and response, but after a while, the UI became unstable, and apps were taking longer to open.
Then, during certain moments, it became a complete laggy unstable mess. Clearing background apps helped - but this has totally put me off. One UI just isn't capable of running efficiently with just 4GB ram. Maybe the 6GB/8GB region dependent variants are better. But in the UK, I can't recommend the 4GB model.
