UP government was giving tablets to students - most were Galaxy A7 lite, and lava + lenovo tablets also.
That's why its showing growth. Not actual customers buying these tablets......

Unlike iPadOS which is basically a glorified iOS for tablets, Windows is a proper desktop OS in the first place. You can even use Linux desktop distro in it as well. As for Android, with the existence of Desktop Mode alongside custom iterations like Samsung DeX and Motorola Ready For to name just two, it's hard for me to justify buying an Android tablet in the first place. You can just buy a portable monitor or a lapdock and only use it when you need to use apps on a larger screen.

I'd rather get a Windows 2 in 1 laptop for full portability, entertainment and for work since Windows 11 now supports an Android app. I see no point of having an iPad or Android device that has a limited software for full productivity.

This proves that a value pack + tightly knit software is important for a tablet to sell well.
S8 has all features you could need in one place with a somewhat affordable prices, all things considered, along with great software
Lenovo has cheap options and solid software, with optional accesories like the pen.
Apple is Apple and it has slaves to keep happy.
Everyone else has neither the price, software or anything at all.
