Most people just buy overpriced phones
The iPhone is very much overpriced king of overpriced

All of The popular android brands are also overpriced some less so but still too pricey for the hardware they have google or Samsung are not much better then apple

As i have said before the gaming smartphones are the best as you get what you pay for
best hardware and overall specs hints lenovo legion or nubia red magic maybe asus rog

There is also some very cheap budget phones out there also
Finding a Alcatel phone or similar can offer a lot of value for money

just people don't buy the best phones they pick the worsted value and often worse phones

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2022Two OS is completely enough. But similar to Linux with many distributions Android has many UIs... moreWrong. No one wants a monopoly and a duopoly. There are people out there who can make better mobile OS than both Android and iOS. All they need is stable financial backing and the right marketing tools, that's it.

Don't make up stories, there's no political conflict in India.

Mmmma, 28 Oct 2022We need a third os in the market Not really. We need OEMs to drop all the Google's apps and Google to allow their installation without the store.

I am from India. What political conflict happened in india that affected smartphone sales? Nothing! Political conflicts dont affect sales.

It is like saying the Trump Biden conflict(the war of words between democrats and Republicans) will affect smartphone sales in america.

India had lockdowns in 2021 but not 2022. Yet smartphone sales fell when infact they were supposed to grow.

No surprise when Apple makes the only smartphones that actually matter.

It's Apple's way for most part, but it just works. I'm on Poco X4 GT currently as "experiment" and while phone is nice as such, it's just so god damn fiddly and in the end still doesn't work. Like frigging NFC on it. What good is all this so called "freedom" of choice for "open" NFC when payment just doesn't work. I've even paired same app I had paired on iPhone (Curve) and it worked fine on iPhone, but doesn't on Android. Like, HOW?! Is it standardized or it isn't? Apple always makes sure things work, but under their terms because that's always how you make sure things actually work. Here it's open and you're on your own when it doesn't work.

Apps compatibility is an issue and some apps are not available on all platforms or the features are missing etc. I had a lumia and the OS looked good but many apps were unavailable on it

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2022Weird the fact oneplus sales count as oppo, but realme sales do not. Because OnePlus sales is declining & they don't to show it since it will impact brand value. Also they kind of merged OP with Oppo

I never think people who use iPhone are real tech enthusiast. They only want a mobile OS that is simple to use and secure enough for everyday use, and that's it.
