Not interested since it is from Google.
Until they fix their price, I will not consider buying any Google product
I never try the first version, but I've been buying Galaxy S devices since around series 10, I think. My first Pixel was the 6 — what a trashy device, coming from a Galaxy! I called it a camera, absolutely hated it. Laggy, buggy, and Google has obviously gone away from "Be together, not the same," because I had to purchase Nova Launcher, Pixel's launcher is garbage for customization, can't even change the clock on the home page. No device plug and plays external USB drives formatted and loaded with all sorts of media from a Windows PC like a Galaxy device, Pixel6 needs third party apps to sort of function at this. I tossed the Pixel and got my first Galaxy Z, the Flip 4, what an amazing device! It's every bit as great as the S series, plus a foldable screen, and my favorite fingerprint reader ever, it works so fast and flawlessly you'll want your friends to try it to make sure it's actually reading your print before unlocking your phone (it is). I've had a lot of Androids through the years, the Pixel6 is easily my most disappointing, the Fold4 is my favorite by far.
kevvv, 16 Oct 2022Welp, Huawei, Xiaomi or Motorola foldables aren't available outside China. Google just wa... moreMotorola razr is available on amrkets outside of china.
Huawei P50 Pocket is also available on EU markets and anywhere else outside the china.
Maybe apart USA which is a niot much of problem. Americans buys apple only because they dont know much about much better android. Shame on them.
And before Huawei ban by USA which never has been confirmed of what USA tries to put on them even Mate X were available to buy.
Only xiaomi fold is not available.
AnonD-731363, 15 Oct 2022Wonnder why google bothered with a foldable if Huawei, Xiaomi or Motorola already did this in ... moreWelp, Huawei, Xiaomi or Motorola foldables aren't available outside China. Google just wants to enliven international markets like Samsung and Microsoft.

But yeah, we know it's still far from perfect. We just hope for much better development from the Android developers.
Anonymous, 15 Oct 2022This gonna be the worst foldable in history 🤣🤣🤣A big tech giant like Goolge failing that badly? I doubt that.
And only 240Hz pwm.
they will make one, then drop support for it. It's what Google does. Throws stuff at the wall. Most times doesn't stick
Foldable screen is really just a new way for manufacturers sell you new stuff you don't really need.
as i have the fold phones. i m quite disappointed, i was expecting a different format , smth more usable for typing with the cover screen. The chinese alternatives are China restricted and the pixel could fill that void, what a shame , to lose that opportunity , it will be virtually impossible to compete with samsung on equal measure after they have had 4 generations of experience .
Sinnaoi, 15 Oct 2022The hypotenuse 😂 That's a term I hadn't heard for awhile 😊Haha...memories of your days in school.
Nobody wants a folding phone.
I'm rather looking forward to seeing it be official. At least there should be a widely available foldable that'll hopefully rival the Samsung offering. Perhaps it'll prompt some of the other manufacturers to do global distribution & support if they can see there's a market available.
Wonnder why google bothered with a foldable if Huawei, Xiaomi or Motorola already did this in a much better device.
TBH, I could not care less for a foldable, on the other hand I want that new Pixel tablet that acts as a Nest device as well - that is just a sweet idea.
I would buy it..... If i could buy it in my country from my carrier.
It is bizarre that i could buy even Xiaomi, Realme phone but not Google Pixel phones.
At least we could hope this would make newer versions of Android more foldable&tablet friendly.
