As for the rest, it's five years of software support and three Android updates. You also get access to beta versions and updates are timely. It's not just about software. Google cameras are simply outstanding and are much better than the cameras on any iPhone. The design of the device is great, Google Pixel devices are the expression of what Android is. Android is the best mobile operating system out there.

Would be nice if Google made the "visor" camera island with sloping top and bottom edges, so it's a smooth curve on which dust and pocket lint can't gather as much as it does on those 90° sharp edges. Also I think it would look really sleek and still wouldn't rock on table.
And they really need to upgrad the Tensor. It was underwhelming with first generation and if they'll only upgrade NPU and GPU, it'll just be even worse for core performance which at 1000/2800 in Geekbench is pretty meh. That's mildly better than Dimensity 8100 single thread and WAAAAAAAY worse than D8100 in multi. Which is very disappointing given it's suppose to be a flagship phone.
Oh and Google really needs to improve support. Given that Google is in fact the maker of Android, only giving Pixel users 3 major OS upgrades is pretty bad. Sure, there are custom ROM's and all that, but Google could and should do better, especially since software is their whole shtick and they do just slightly better than most Chinese brands.

OnePlus, Motorola, Realme, Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei use optical and do not have that issues.
