DMX, 27 Sep 2022I know that, and it's a shame, I like stock android, but my old pixel 6 pro got hot even ... morethat is really sad to hear,i am honestly interested in buying base pixel 7,hopefully tensor g2 did make thermals better but i guess i should wait a month before placing order only other option i have is motorola edge 30 ultra lol ,samsung s22 used 8gen1 and people reporting heating issues ,iphone 13 is not gonna be in my consideration
Anonymous, 26 Sep 2022That's the pixel 6a. You are describing the pixel 6a, LOLDude I'm ashamed, I totally forgot abut 6A's existence when I wrote this 😂 But yeah that's it glad that we have 6A, but Google could do a better marketing job, idk I just feel that people don't care enough about Pixel Phones, and of course I live in Brazil and Pixel has never been sold here so... yeah, come on Google
the tech nerd, 27 Sep 2022cause it's made in colab with samsung for sake of being made on samsung's node,proba... moreI know that, and it's a shame, I like stock android, but my old pixel 6 pro got hot even without using it on occasions, something very typical of exynos!
Anonymous, 27 Sep 2022The only important question is: Will it have the same crappy Exynos modem, as in the Pixel 6 m... moreG2 chipset will reportedly feature a new S5300 5G modem from Samsung, that will be based on NR Release 16. This promises better performance, stability and efficiency compared to older Release 15 parts
Yas, 26 Sep 2022I've been wanting to have a Pixel phone for a few years now, but their battery is so weak... moreApple and Google are following the same practice of making a best phone with small battery or some limitation so that the people keep upgrading to next model. Else no one will change the phone for 4-6 years, then How will companies earn.
DMX, 27 Sep 2022Why not TSMC and if that soc that even Samsung left behind? I hope an ultrasonic fingerprint ... morecause it's made in colab with samsung for sake of being made on samsung's node, probably for atleast 2-3years they will still make the tensor chips on samsung's nodes
As the saying goes, "why fix the unbroken".
Why not TSMC and if that soc that even Samsung left behind? I hope an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor....
Gee, the iPhone 14, isn't much different than the iPhone 13...the Pixel 7 isn't much difference than the Pixel 6.
See a pattern? You don't "need" to buy a new one every year.
The only important question is: Will it have the same crappy Exynos modem, as in the Pixel 6 models? If it does, then, like those phones, it will be the worst phone for signal reception and connectivity in the last decade.
LV426, 26 Sep 2022Sw update .. what for? If phone work ok, no need any updates. What for u need new android ever... moreUpdates aren't critical but you buy a phone. So manufactures must give you support.
Anonymous, 26 Sep 2022What you expect exciting in a smaller device, some huge multiple sensors, periscope, large bat... moreI meant the 90 hz refresh rate and the not much better tensor 2, but the zenfone 9 which is even smaller and has almost the same battery size, an 120 hz oled and a pretty big chip inprovement.
I've been wanting to have a Pixel phone for a few years now, but their battery is so weak, I don't know why Google isn't doing anything to improve battery life. 😣 Google company is a technology superpower in the world, it really can't think to improve the battery of its phones
Super Android 22, 26 Sep 2022The pixel 7 will probably sell and do well, the pro is going to flop.... Again, for like what ... moreConsidering tensor is an exynos, that is onviously gonna be made at samsung semicon.
Waiting to see if there will be good deals on the P7....
I will knock on google for beta testing. the 6 series was just that. the 6a is a final version. now the 7 series represents the complete, consumer-ready product
anyways, aside from being over the 6in mark, no phones on the market look as good as the p6 and p7
real shame they make odd color choices and removed the colored power button, though.
at least the modem will be cooler with a better signal. the tensor runs very well slightly underclocked, google pushes it too hard out the factory is what's wrong. I imagine the t2 will be the same story, or perhaps better if they kept the clock the same on better cores.
Anonymous, 26 Sep 2022What you expect exciting in a smaller device, some huge multiple sensors, periscope, large bat... more"stop expecting flagship specs in smaller devices"
there's literally no reason not to. it's far from impossible and would actually save companies some pennies having to use less glass, metal, and plastic for the bodies. I'm sure they'd love to do that but they see the technologically illiterate sheep and their defenders like you buying tablet phones so they're going to make what sells best.
Google's software experience is terrific. It keeps getting better as for chips, 2nd gen will improve too. Pixels for me have been great. Love the P3 and P5 agreeable size. good marriage of large screen in a sweet spot size.
"A 90Hz display on a near-flagship device in 2023 will not look impressive."
cough*iPhone14*cough
Super Android 22, 26 Sep 2022The pixel 7 will probably sell and do well, the pro is going to flop.... Again, for like what ... moreTotally~ I tried many set of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro. It was boiling hot for video call, its even significantly warm just from whatsapp and youtube, doesn't make any sense. Samsung wont even use their exynos at their own home turf, and now they are selling it away cheap to google.
Anonymous, 26 Sep 2022Samsung A series are more worth for me. Their update support is greatly improved.Sw update .. what for? If phone work ok, no need any updates. What for u need new android every year? Uts nonsense.
