Google make the base version of android so they can roll it out to their own device faster when it comes to Pixel phones, but the other manufactures have to adapt it to their device so takes time.

So can't speak about gaming but everything else is great. To make your music more pleasant set equalizer this way: from left to right - 7DB - 5DB - 4DB - 1DB Keep others to 0DB... Enjoy.

Maybe th... moreGoogle play service updates do NOT bring new features, idk what you're on about. Also, apps on google play actually do stop working if android isn't up to date. This is especially true with ride share apps and banking apps, in my experience. So in reality, you DO need the latest android phone for important apps to work in some instances. Most people probably don't want to drop $800 to $1,000 on a phone that stops working well in 2 years. Samsung is one of the few exceptions of this, but they are not representative of the entire android platform

You literally just embarassed yourself. Maybe this is why iphone users are widely known as tech illiterate people. Your comment is one of the examples.
Google is literally giving new features/patch updates through its google play. It is called Google Play system updates. This is not similar as those regular app updates and this google play system update includes new minor features, security updates, improvement in oerformace, etc.
Every Samsung owner today will regularly get all four types of updates:
1. Few years of OS upgrades
2. Security patches from Samsung
3. Those regular app updates from app developer (including native apps from Google, Samsung)
4. Monthly Google Play system updates (system/security improvements, new minor features drop, etc.).
And all of these could be set to upgrade manually or automatically.

Sure it was treated like it wasn't there because of the price and have nothing more than a53, in Romania is still not existent. Prime reasons is the lack of 3x optic zoom and second lame CPU like A72 last year. The price of A73, is to high. Even A53 is worth less than A52S 5G because of the charger and snapdragon.
