Using an overheating chipset on a gaming phone lolBig deal, no cpu runs at even 60% at any time just a short burst , even s855 is still very powerful. I have rooted Sony pro_i with custom rom kernels, and all 8 cpu active at 90% threshold, mate its bloddddy insane fast, but severe battery drain, more like 3000mah, also current voltage are overclocoked, you're nagging over 10% increases

This is great if you already had your eye on this phone but also wanted a gaming phone, though some may want to wait for the full fledged version. But what they really should do is also make a cooling pad just for video capture because as many of us already know this phone does not have the best thermal management.

probably 'testing the water'. its been reported multiple times that Sony will enter the mobile gaming market with PS titles in development for mobile.
safe to assume that Song will release a full pledge gaming phone in the future, a collaboration with PS is also good

MASTERY, 12 Sep 2022Because there is absolutely nothing differentiating it from the base 1 IV. A measly 4GB of RAM... moreIts not newly made, its just a phone edition with more ram. Just like for ex, Sammy made Marvel edition phones. Nothing but a Marvel theme added to base model.
And is bundeled with this gear. Thus, Gaming edition.
Its definitely worth buying if one wants top specs flag/gaming combo.
