asking sony to use 8+gen 1 chip for a gaming phone is like asking samsung to use 8+ gen 1 chip for the second generation of s22 ultra..people are just dumb..how can you have different chipsets for the same mode, relesed in the same year .with only a different ram.. for people worrying about throttling,the xperia stream,a cooling case for the phone was released for a reason i.e to tackle the throttling..

8GB is enough for FHD+, 12GB is better for 2K+ / QHD+ screen. 16GB is overkill for mobile gaming which has less graphic quality than console n PC.
Better use SD 8+ Gen 1 with less RAM because SD 8 Gen 1 is easy throttled.
