Yes, development of highly customised UI costs a lot but can be easily covered with sponsored bloat, in UI ads and payment tiers for in house apps.
Take this into consideration before calling phones with no ads and bloat expensive, they have to compensate such low profits from somewhere.
Also export costs are considered and it's in Europe so they can get away with higher prices.

It's easier to make pure Android version than implementing an UI, and they still asking for double the price. It's 'funny' 🤣 I wouldn't say anything only for extra 100 euros but doubling is something different that I can not accept.

Shadocx, 08 Sep 2022I'm seriously starting to find Motorola's phones more appealing than Xiaomi phones. Exactly. Even Nokia seems interesting now. At least the slabs have started to have more character than before.
Also these phones are shockingly light as well seems like. But no Nokia-grade build quality is to be expected.
