Same Ultra Wide cam for 4 generations (11-14). That 60Hz screen is also 😂. Better call this one with iPhone 13S/12SS.
Apple can sell lot more iPhones if they create a new model. Call it iPhone 14 plus plus, with 7 inch no notch screen, no face ID, A13 processor, cameras like 14 and price it at USD 599. Sell this in developing countries with low market share.
Anonymous, 08 Sep 2022We know you are a huge apple fanboy. You always defend everything apple does. Enjoy your jail phone. And your clueless comment is prime example of a hater who knows NOTHING about me or who I'm a fan of. If you didn't have your head so far up your own rear you'd see I've been critical at Apple since the event yesterday because of crap they pulled with vanilla models as well as eSIM thing. But go on lol
I don't understand why anyone would think the "pill" is a good idea: it takes as much space as the notch, only moved down to intrude further into the display.
I know Apple have a captive market, but between that and a fairly stagnant iPhone 14 (and US customers losing the ability to buy a cheap SIM in another country) this has to be the most underwhelming release for many years.

Wongwatt, 08 Sep 2022eSIM only is a real kick in the crotch Sadly, this will be the norm in couple of years. Now, is only US market, but it will not remain like that for too long.
Whenever "Cookie" takes a sh*t, there are immediately some fanboys with tears of joy, to applaud it. Lol.
I just hope they will ban iPhones in EU, in future. Or at least oblige them to do such things, that Apple will leave EU market on their own. That will be certainly the happiest day of my life (as an European).
Anonymous, 08 Sep 2022That would imply that there was an issue with their profit margin but it's been overly hi... moreSure, they have a relatively high profit margin alright. Around 27% net profit margin last year. Would have been a better move to buy their shares rather than their products over the years

Now I don't and can't.
Wongwatt, 08 Sep 2022eSIM only is a real kick in the crotch I'm guessing you didn't watch the event. Apple mentioned that the new iPhone 14 & Pro with eSim only is for USA model. Mean, others than US, it will still use sim tray & eSim. Please learn more before saying something that gonna made you look s*upid 🤦🏻♂️

His point was that the iPhone 14 and Plus should have had more than 60Hz considering their cost. The point is the refresh rate of the display, not the phone itself.
You're welcome. 🤗

Anonymous, 07 Sep 2022between those 3, I'd choose 5.8Majority wouldn't. Sales figures show it. And that's the point you've been unable to grasp. Unless you're saying that you represent majority.

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2022Euro is at parity with the dollar, so not unexpected. Yeah. In real terms for the company prices are around the same as last year in terms of what they receive in $US which is the currency of their business and which their costs are accounted for in. Therefore, to maintain their roughly 26% net profit margin they need to increase the price by a corresponding amount to reflect the 15-20% depreciation of the Euro against the dollar. Of course, consumers don't care about this but that's the way companies work (the major Chinese brands have been doing the same this year). Basically, the price increase in Europe can be accounted for by currency depreciation. The prices in the US and China are basically the same as last year (China is also tied to the US$ and so moves in the same way). Time will tell whether it affects their sales volume in Europe.
