    "location tag features"
There is no benefit to such a feature, except to sell the data to advertisers. You can input your location manually if you want to share it with others on a post.

I believe this. If Hackers can take over IG account & you get told by an automatic response no rules have been broken when reported from IG. Even if you keep reporting and send emails no action is taken. But someone will respond on Twitter asking for USD to get your account back. So are these people within IG hacking your account?

                  Grats.

I wouldn't be suprised if they did that. But also,it seems to me that they didn't want to be a feature for all people but for chosen ones.
Of course if it is true, they will deny it(lie).
Just like Facebook, everything you upload to those social media is never deleted, just hidden. So, when you click on delete your account, post or some media, you actually just hide it from public, but it lives on servers indefinitely.

They would never do that as this would devalue their data and then they couldn't sell it to ad companies that sell it to other ad companies that sell it to foreign ad companies that sell it to government agencies that give it to foreign government agencies. Now your data has globally backed up. Absolutely trustworthy 👍
And on the next episode we'll learn Twitter shares your location data.

Once you shared that photo, the geolocation info would also go with it, since it would be inside the exif (metadata of the photo).
