Hemedans, 26 Aug 2022How can satelite provide 5G? Its impossible. And 2mbps is not 5G standard. For 5G speeds, you need 3CA on 5G SA network which can happen next year only on X70 modem phones. For now you need to buy either good n78-n78 CA phones or phones with mmwave support.

If this brings connectivity access to everyone, it's great. Besides, I'm suspecting this will be an optional extra that you'll have to pay for and not something everyone will just get automatically. Satellites have much more finite resources than ground cell towers. There will certainly be a catch somewhere, just not as expensive one as for satellite phones...
