SShock, 15 Aug 2022Good luck to everyone who don't own Pixel phones in getting Android 13 :)In about a month or two, thank you...
back in my day to root my android i had to walk uphill in the snow so i know what i'm talking about, lemme tell you ten years ago androids not built like snowflakes we have today. there's no bugs on them i tell ya!
mithril2001, 16 Aug 2022obviously you havent used titanium backupThe result of Titanium Backup is still different to what Apple does with iPhones. Everything is copied exactly just how it was on the old iphone, down to the icon placements and all settings. Also, TB needs root to work properly, which is not regular user would do.
Moreover, Google should aware that regular users need backups so they could add similar feature as a built-in app in Android.
I don't use iphones but had an ipod touch in the past, and the itunes backup helped me a lot. That was almost 10 years ago, and Android still can't do that today, which is such a shame.
Zzlol, 16 Aug 2022This really needs to slow down. So much phones have bugs and problems from previous versions, ... moreit's not true that android phones back them didn't had bugs....
buts always will be here. there are to many variables to control them all. back them variables where way less. Android was a very simple SO with few apps online.
Google have a lot of programmers, they will not stop programming (updating). The only thing I could complain, it's incremental updates and not out of the box, change life updates.

Android 13 works in oppo f17
If your Pixel 6 is sim free, not see any update yet.

Michael , 16 Aug 2022There is nothing important in any of latest android versions. What I’m wondering is why ... moreobviously you havent used titanium backup
Android a buggy mess? Color me surprised
Zzlol, 16 Aug 2022This really needs to slow down. So much phones have bugs and problems from previous versions, ... moreNah, no slow down. We need to pile up features after features to show the world and convince people to buy garbage. That's how it works, bru 😀😂😑
This really needs to slow down. So much phones have bugs and problems from previous versions, barely even samsung can keep up, others RIP.
Stop releasing half-products ffs.
10 years ago androids had no updates, but instead they worked perfectly out of the box. Now you get tons of bugs, and with updates again nothing works.
kej, 16 Aug 2022With Android updates, the best you can do is wait 3-4 years between them. Theres always a gold... moreI always liked the holo like icons from Android 4 and before and iOS and before unlike the minimal crap we have today

What I’m wondering is why to this date Nor Google’s backup, nor Samsung backup is complete like iPhone back up ? Google backup backs up one thing but doesn’t back up another. Same for Samsung backup , backs up one thing but doesn’t back up another.
And none of them backs up folders.
So why only iPhone has a complete back up , including local folders, and no other brands do the same ??? It looks like all major companies are working together and have a goal of keeping iPhone the best selling phone.
Anonymous, 16 Aug 2022Go for Samsung next time unless you don't want stability.I do have a Samsung, i always wanted Pixel but they're not stable so yeah..
OhNom, 16 Aug 2022Oh yeah, that's very good, Apple is also doing its job, it added very important functions... moreYou're doing it again. You had since 2016. On which launcher skin and which brand? It's not just "A N D R O I D", this uniform all including OS. Yet you all treat it like it is when you need to brag about some feature. Come on, tell me, when has AOSP version of Android received AOD? Because only AOSP is something that every single 3rd party smartphone then also receives as a guaranteed feature. Heh.

And Xiaomi still lazy with their android 11.
One of the worst companies this year
