They nail their classy designs. Here's to hoping they new chipset also enables wearOS to last around as long as their harmony OS.

They lost me after my ticwatch pro died just 7 months after i purchased it. They refused to fix it claiming they can't provide warranty for AliExpress customers.

My ticwatch pro has been a supreme failure at all levels including just being a watch.
In smartwatch mode it manages to be the most unresponsive, buggy piece of technology I have ever owned or experienced. Button taps have a 1/3 chance of doing what they were supposed to, doing nothing, or sending me back to the watch face. Nothing just works. Worst of all is I got it explicitly to leave my phone at home and play music on runs, but playing music is something out cannot do in any capacity.
In essentials mode, where it's just a watch, it somehow manages to have a drift severe enough to be noticeable within a few days.
So truly, at all levels, a failure.

It would be more impressive if TicWatch Pro had ACTUALLY upgraded to Wear OS 3 instead of just promising to some time. Also, even with Mobvoi cleverly solving the battery life problem by overlaying a 1995 casio over the smartwatch portion, the industry reliance on Qualcomm and their lack of meaningful improvement since literally the era of flat tire watches

hope it will be a proper upgrade over ticwatch E3 targeting casual users. this was so similar to galaxy watch4 but with pretty much drawbacks. so,it delivered no value for the buck before. ticwatch pro is in garmin territory,not so casual.
