Anonymous, 14 Jul 2022How long do you need for that freakin' review. you've received the phone 6 days ago ... moreI think they smashed it by accident to the ground, and now still gluing the shards together, since no replacement unit was given. Also they are waiting for the review text approval from Xiaomi marketing team since they can't simply post an honest review to disrupt the sales, etc.

Shame it won't be sold outside of China. I've had Chinese handsets for a while now from Oneplus, Huawei and Oppo and they've all been great.

I work in a company that have a patent on several design.
We do apply ... moreNice way to say exactly the same I'd just said, but still managing to start with a "you are wrong". If you do in fact work in patents then, without any question, you should know that China has it's own thing and the US patents office cannot enforce US patents there (but it can in Europe, because there are international agreements).
Furthermore, licensing a China patent costs a lot less than a US patent, but only allows for the use within China. And we've come full circle.

I have the S22 ultra snapdragon version (living in Denmark Europe), and the MI 11 ultra and i still prefer mi 11 ultra any day, with photos to, but that's just me.
But i think i sell my S22 ultra and buy the mi 12 ultra instead. Options and control panel in xiaomi i like lots more to.

I work in a company that have a patent on several design.
We do apply patent on many other country as well.
The key point here is we need to apply in a big country because there's will be lots of patent fee from that country (i.e. China, India, USA, Indonesia, Brazil, EU), and we also need to apply in the country that our patent/design will be mostly used.
