I think asus should use this instead if they can save some money and pass the savings to the consumer. Qualcomm used samsung fabrication process and loses in the power draw department, which in turn loses out in the heat department and causing battery to drain faster. Im. Impressed with mediatek, such a short time but such fast growth.

Other brands like samsung only allows snapdragon socs unleash about 60-80% of power for better battery life. While Apple unleashes the true potential of their bionic socs but still throttles if it passes to 5w of power

Especially with th... moreYou have no idea what you're talking about if you think that there's no huge difference between tsmc and Samsung nodes. Samsung nodes use almost double the wattage for the same performance... Watch golden reviewers last vid comparing 8gen1 vs 870. The 870 is basically a rebranded 865 that was released 2 years prior to the 8gen1. Not only does it have MUCH better sustained performance, it achieves it also using 50% less wattage. 8gen1 is trash

Absolutely love my K50G CN ROM...
Not many folks know this.... But the 8 Gen 1 packs a 20% memory bandwidth larger cache than the A15... Which compensates for lower cores scores. The GPU also being significantly more powerful than the A15... And of course charging speeds of 120w... At 17 mins is phenomenal.
Recently just helped somebody upgrade from an old iphone to a 12 pro max... And replaced a screen for an iPad. And helped with the very large iPad set up...
Thing is... All this hype with iOS is terrible. iOS is bugged to the core. I am not kidding. That iCloud with having to keep waking up the new phone with toggling the iCloud and airplane mode switches is a joke. The latency is awful. The ghosting on the screen is bad. The worst part is iOS.
The touch lag is awful. It's like you have to press the app a few times. And then maybe it loads.
Was sooooo happy to go back to my gaming device.
No matter what Apple says. I have used and repaired and set up 4x apple devices recently. And I am thoroughly appauled and the lack of quality and experience iOS gives the user.
I am defo sticking with Android big time. Especially gaming phones... And of course... Android have the best camera phones too...

Right now is scarce, unreliable, not all phones support it, and a power hog.

Tmsc is better but samsung are still among world top quality.
The only reason it will run well is because it's a rog gaming phone and that is their track record.

Wongwatt they do everything better than a flagship phone can possibly do except taking photos using rear camera,or you specifically need wireless charging 🤷, which tsb is obsolete when have 6000 mAh battery with her charging speed.ive used an Asus phone last 4 yrs after always buying top Samsung phone yr after yr and I don't game on it .All s22ultra and iPhone max pro interested in is camera battles and don't improve anything else for multiple yrs at a time. Happy Samsung used Asus battery life saving settings finally.and apple shout out for finally joining 21 century adding 5g and 120 refresh rate, hopefully one decade they'll put a double digit gb ram in it lmao. I'm happy with having best audio possible listening to music while downloading quicker than anyone else and mostly laughing at everyone scrambling for power outlet to hook up there chargers and cables . I only need 30 min while having diner a day charging phone and I watch/stream content music flat out all day .

Upgraded cpu, gpu and isp only and still doesnt have mmwave and has less support of custom roms. While snapdragon 8+ gen 1 has major upgrade by switching samsung to tsmc node thus better better battery life while having more performance and stays cool during long gaming sessions. It also has better support of custom roms and has mmwave
