Why does this have a notch even though it has a huge bottom bezel?

Ludicrous price. With sky high inflation, who the hell will buy this?
I will still go for razr3 5G cos of it build quality and does not show hinge line on the screen out smarting Samsung's flip series samsung should learn the screen technology from moto.😀

The technology itself is expensive. How much a difference would a lower CPU make, a hundred? But not five hundred, as you want to see it.
Give it a few years to pay for the development and then maybe... No, I don't think this would happen, since majority of people don't want it.
Hopefully is doesn't look like the recent design leaks
A $1200 Razr 3 is still a lot of money for a flip phone. Using my foldable flip phones for the last 9 to 10 months, I feel Flip 4 and Razr 3 should only be priced at $700 max. Then the Fold 4 and Ultra should be $1000. Prices needs to go down on these foldables if they ever want to be mainstream.
I really did tried going back to a regular slab. The only thing I enjoyed from it was I didn't have to lift open any thing when scanning my debit, Vons' card, or Regal Unlimited. There's that extra step always opening up a flip phone. But I also found using a regular slab boring after 2-3 days. So sticking to flip phones for life will be my only option moving forward.
Is it finally going to be worth it and a not a complete rip off?
Especially the first gen one. A $1500 phone with $400 specs just cause it looked cooler. Minues the bending screen of course.
But compared to the flip which cost less, actually had the flagship level specs, and while moto put a lot of work in the hinge samsung was the one working on it for years longer.
Not to mention the esim crap and barely even being other carrier compatible even unlocked. I know the second one improved things some but my God it was a bit ridiculous the amount skimping, corning cutting, and over pricing.

Nice looking
I'd be impressed if Motorola can give better hardware than previous generation model and sell it at a lower price than before. It's just a shame that it won't have that distinctive design as before.

Reports are they want to ship 15 million foldables. I did not hear that from Samsung so I won't hold them to speculation and then crap on them next year if they don't reach those numbers, but they have to reduce the price if they want to get foldables into the hands of more consumers.
399 or €1,399 ? Its a...joke, right ?!?
Samsung haven't announced any prices for the Flip 4 models, though. Remember what they did last year? Everybody including TCL, expecting another 1,500 euro phone and they gave all of the competition the middle finger with a 1,000 buck phone? Remember how they bundled expensive stuff with it and discounted it all the time throughout the year and still made record breaking earnings?
If Motorola is feeling confident with an €1,149 starting price I have a feeling they're in for a nasty surprise. Wild guess: The Flip4 models will start at less than 800 euros.
