Kiflom, 16 Jun 2022No point for S22FE. A53 fills that gap more or less and is cheaper.S21 Fe : much faster processor, much faster usb port and video output + dex over the usb-c port. much better camera. also The S21 FE has a snapdragon chip... compare that to the A53 which has an exynos chip and is slower than the A52s which it is replacing....
yes the a53 with exynos 1280 is slower than the snapdragon 778 in the a52s.
No point for S22FE. A53 fills that gap more or less and is cheaper.
I got 4 android upgrades with s21 fe and a galaxy watch 4 for € 450. I don't care what anyone thinks about it.
The first FE model was the Note FE after the fiasco of Note 7.
GSM wont say what they know. Thats a long story of failed FE models, why they keep on doing that?
No reason to floor the market with something not much cheaper than the OG.
smartphone releases became boring and repetitive anyway
more downgrades than upgrades and just pumping the price with greed

Eric20, 16 Jun 2022Samsung already sells so many models with Mediatek. If it makes business sense to use Mediatek... moreThank you for easily explaining what a conglomerate is.
They could also just continue selling the previous years standard S model, at a lower price.
Why dont they release a successor to Note 10 lite. We need Snapdraogn + spen + Headphone jack + 5G.
Honestly I've never understood the love towards the fan edition phones. There's much better phones at the price plus the A series is enough for budget/midrange phones
It is because shamsong cheated people while nming it as Fan Edition.
If shamesong was honest and choose one of followng names, then may be better sold.

I think is a good move from Samsung. First with the canceling of Note series and moving the Pen to the S series (practically the last Note was just an S phone with Pen). And now with the canceling of FE phones. Practically their upper A series (like A7x or A5x) look more appealing.
In this way they can concentrate on delivering better experience, because they will work with fewer models. Hopefully they will not increase the number of S series or A series phones next year.
Regular S series and A series are enough. No need to release more.
20FE had its "FAN" features like jack and SD, flat screen etc.
21FE is almost the same as normal S21 without all the aforementioned specs, released almost a year later... - so why would anyone bother about losing the FE variant?
i actually don't mind a 6.3" inch s22 FE with 45w charging and 4,500mah battery
S22FE with 8+g1, 3.5mm, sd card slot and mid range price tag will sell like a hot cake.
Oh man. I was excited for a 8+ Gen 1 S22 FE that I could get next year when it was discounted. The A53 is not a great deal and just a bit too big for me, the S21 FE was good but had SD888.
My choices for phones to upgrade my OP6 from are dwindling. Seems like the next Pixel A device is my only option.
