And what with Tecno and repeating same old chipsets in thier current models when there are lots of better new chips out there? If they start losing market, they will learn sense

Cortex a75 and A76 are old now, you can find them under $200.

They know for sure their intended customers are ignorant, they sell a lot here in Africa, and you wont Believe their fans even believe they are better than Samsung/Xiaomi flagship.

Tecno website shows a pro 5G model which will not use the Helio G96.

I think this phone will get plauged with backlight inconsistencies
Tecno cannot make a phone without mediatek Helio g96.
How can you use the same Chipset for camon 18 and 19.

Yeah beautiful design a very promising camera system on a outdated chipset why do they make such things. I was waiting for this phones series hoped to see better specs than last year's, maybe a flagship grade chipset or kinda sub-par, IP rating IR blaster, to blow up the competition, there's a lot of brands manufacturing midrangers with a mediocre camera system but better chipsets, they have the potential to stand out, it was a let down for me, hopefully the 19 premier if there will be one later to feature better chipset & IP & IR

No, gsmarena. The white is not added, but half of green filter is removed out of top of sensor.

Someone should remind Tecno and Infinix that there are also 5G chipsets manufactured by MediaTek and if they can't still afford D1200, 8100, 9000, they can give a chance to older but solid Dimensity chipsets like 800U, 820 and 900. But if they continue to try so hard to keep the expenses low and keep using the same chipset over and over, they will soon go bankrupt. People are bored.
