The lack of apps will become better in time. It took Android and IOS olso some time.Harmoy OS will get better in time as well so lets see what Harmoy OS3 will bring to the table.

How much can you store, some people claim they stored 25 Gb of music on the watch while Huawei keeps claiming the GT3 pro has only 4Gb of memory.

Did you get the watch?
What is the battery life you are getting and which version of Harmony OS you are using?
I am asking because I do not know if I am doing something wrong but mine with the setup I have (a 3rd party watch face that does not say intensive usage, continuous heart, continuous SPO2, continuous skin, continuous stress, sleep tracking) it lasts 6 days.
I need to find out why.

This is the first time for me to buy a smartwatch and after carefully reviewing all premium smartwatch I have chosen the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro and I am so happy with it. I believe its the best smartwatch overall. Sure the number of available 3rd party apps are very limited but everything I need are already available.
Forget Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch 4.. Watch GT 3 Pro is superior in my opinion.

As you said, this is a simple software option, and it got implemented in newer models. Both the Fit and GT3 have workout autodetect mode. Not sure about the GT2-e though.

I know these other comments are the responses on the latest GT3 version. Please here me out....
I recently bought a new GT2e-7c7 after having used up 3 Garmin watches over the last 12 years I thought I would go for this one only to find out that this model doesn't even have an autopause option for running or cycling as my basic 12 year old Garmin has. Many people have complained because even a level entry Garmin has it. This is a mere software issue that Huawei could sort out if they really wanted to. I only found out two weeks after buying the watch and could no longer return it and pay in for the GT-3

I tried so many of these smart watches over the years and battery life is the same on them all. I now use a withings hybrid scanwatch and it's so much better. I get 3-4 weeks battery life plus it has a sapphire watch face so it doesn't scratch. By far my best purchase from last year and intend to keep it for a few years at least.

Still love my Watch GT. Been using it for years with my daily sport. The only downside is that the top bottom tends to stick. Brushing it with alcohol and toothbrush helps.. a bit.

Good for you to get better price on Sammy and Apple products I believe. In Indonesia, we got premium prices even for outdated release.

But you can still find it at 130-140 EURO on other local websites on a regular basis.
If you don't mind the very low battery life, any other "smartwatch" and even most smart bands are a stupid purchase at this kind of price comparison...
