I absolutely Love HTC phones. I am not an Iphone/Apple person. I am glad HTC is making a comeback. I'm so excited to see HTC back. Samsung market for their premium phones isn't as stable as Apple's. Overall HTC has the best phone in regard to quality.

I really do hope that they can make a comeback. I'm still using a HTC 10 as my daily driver and I still love it, even 6 years on. A good successor would be awesome.

I'm exited to see HTC back.
Some sources suggest $650 starting price others around $899.
The problem with Android, it has alternatives even Samsung market for their premium phones isn't as stable as Apple's. HTC should know already there are bunch of much awaited devices like Nothing phone one, Google pixel 7 (tensor 2 chipset), etc
$899 for Snapdragon 8 plus gen 1, 8-12GB RAM, HTC back then was king of photography, 7500mah, etc isn't bad though below that amount HTC gonna make their break through ASAP

I had one of the original HTC phones, the Touch. Looking forward to see what they come up with this time. However I hope they don't use their old tried and failed methods of putting out a lackluster phone and charging Apple pricing. Just make a decent specced phone, reasonable price to get people interested in the brand again

AnonD-864404, 10 Jun 2022I sometimes think like you and all these thought just make me want to set up a phone business lol! Hahaha. I know what you mean. The amount of money wasted on avoiding what customers want is almost criminal. Plus a few generations of RAM, phone body, Gorilla Glass Generations, camera setups including the exact sensor, and processors alone could cause huge proce differences. Manufacturers could cut the right corners, and arrive at much better pricing and customer experience.

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2022 Ow complain about the useless things samsung has done over years. Samsung's unnecessary features like heart rate monitor, eye gestures etc are useful only. Beside these features Samsung never did experiments with important features of a phone like camera, display etc. Samsung's Oled is now ruling mobile industry and even punch holes too. Whereas HTC messed up with essentials on a phone like cameras, RAMs, displays etc.

Nokias at least support most of the features of custom camera apps despite having a minimalistic stock camera app. And I've tried those exact same custom camera apps on other devices and I can confirm the limitations in other brands compared to Nokia, rooted or non-rooted

I haven't used a N8 so I have no idea how both of them can be compared. But nevertheless for the price I bought the Nokia 8, it's incredible value for money considering the specs and there aren't any better alternatives
