No fingernail marks and I just walked over and tried to scratch it with my fingernail and its fine.
They're obliviously inherently going to be more fragile than a conventional glass screen with Gorilla glass...but they're not so fragile that your finger will destroy it. Also, self healing plastic isn't magic and i'm pretty sure it's improved a lot since LG used it.

Enjoy your technology, get the best out of it. Don't be silly and pay double to get half, just to feed Tim Apple's greedy ego

You're just spewing quasi tech jargon trying to sound smart. Drop it dude, this BS doesn't work on me. Drag fingernail over your whatever folding phone and show it to me in 1 month time how much it "magically healed" the indentation. I'm giving you a whole month for it to "heal". I can assure you, the indentation on soft display will still be there even after 1 month.
LG had "self healing" plastic back on their phone and all the scratches it received were still there by everyone who tried this magical "self healing" properties years ago. Also real classy treating me like I'm stupid just because I use an iPhone.

It's the same old story about how a glorious leader use disinformation to discredit achievements of competition. Get out of your distortion field a bit more! Enjoy real spearhead tech! It's a lot more fun than sitting on the internet spreading lies on behalf of a corporation like you do.

SShock, 09 Jun 2022No it's not. Anyone dragged just finger nail over display and it had permanent indentation.I owned the original Flip and the Flip 3. Not once did I have issues with my nails, even when they were long. Worst case scenario, if you do damage the screen protector: it is self healing so a small scratch self-heals in a day or two.
I know, the science Samsung uses for the Flip 3 is so far beyond your limited imaginations. Which I guess is why you hate it like mormons hates magnets. Not Samsung's fault in any way.

I like these spec.
Bcuz it's not available in iPhone. Hahaha.

I have a feeling these guys and gals are going to sit there for a while until it breaks. It is a sturdy phone.
I upgraded mine to an S22U in March and it looked as new with heavy usage over six months after I got it.
While it's a novelty, I'm not quite sold yet on fragile soft displays. Especially not on regular folding models with terrible useless aspect ratio. This Flip at least doesn't ruin the aspect ratio, but this isn't it. You just trade device width for thickness.
16:10 is probably the best inside ration for a phone like this one. Great for wide screen and decent for multi tasking.
Also, the outer screen could have extreme battery saving modes by using dark modes, and notifications in contrast by darker shades.
Hoping that the cameras have improved too. They were good, byt they should be better.
I wonder if this means that Samsung is skipping 128 for the Flip and 256 for the Fold and replacing them with 256 and 512 options for the same price. Or at least I can dream about it lol
There should be a larger battery option!
