so xiaomi decide to release TSMC snapdragon 8gen1+ on 12s, with major identical with current xm12 vanilla. How is this fair to existing customer that already bought xm12 with hot and shitty samsung fabrication?. Could have wait to use TSMC made on Xiaomi 13 or 12 ultra at least rather than releasing it on identical xm12 edition. What a worse take by xiaomi to annoy current xm12 user.

Based on my experience, "Leica branding" is a good reason NOT to buy: I've had many good cameras (e.g. on a Moto X-Force, Xiaomi MI A3 etc.), but I wanted something even better and bought a Huawei P30 with a Leica camera setup. The tele and wide cameras are ok, but the main rear camera is (particularly compared to the price I paid) the worst I've ever had. Ok, in low light it takes decent pictures, but unfortunately, the ones taken in good light aren't any better. The Leica camera on this Huawei is the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced with a smartphone. (I'm an experienced photographer, so I know my stuff). Maybe, it was just bad luck with this particular device, but Leica on a smartphone? No thanks.

Thes... moreMaking things worse, despite partnering with those lenses companies and prominently displaying their brand, (to this date) the actual lenses in most smartphones usually have nothing to do with that partner. However, make no mistake, sticking that brand near the cameras does sell smartphones.

Odd, I thought that Sony combined all their electronic business, including their mobile division, into one company last year.

What's the point of these partnership : with leica, hasselblade and zeiss ...etc ??? These compagnies doesn't make any sensor or software, they make only lens !!!
In photography : the sensor and postprocessing are the only factors for good shots (lens can even be made by plastic, it doesn't matter).
Just a marketing scam by these chinese compagnies : I never saw these partnership in Samsung, LG or Apple wich they made exemcellent camera modules without any fancy title on the back !!!
(Don't tell me Sony is using Zeiss, they are still mediocre in photography and Sony Mobile is now a chinese brand, just google it)
