I know it's because of the updates, but this is exactly why I think the Flip should just move to a Snapdragon 7 processor. Most people that get these phones only care about phone calls, camera, social media, TikTok (ESPECIALLY), and YouTube; everything the 7 series can do and then some without tarnishing the battery.
I'd sacrifice a year of updates to get better battery life
