Absolute deal breaker. Have a Fold 3. Love it. Only downside is no slot for stylus. Heard Fold 4 was going to have one. Prepared to buy Fold 4, just for that feature. Thickness not an issue. Folding phone is going to be thick. That's expected. But having to keep track of a stylus because of no dedicated slot is a major flaw. To not fix this issue is inexcusable.
Epic fail if true, sticking with my Fold 2
I don't ever think it is possible to use stylus on a plastic screen. Yes, Samsung might call it Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), but it's still plastic at heart.

Note 22 lite, 19 Apr 2022Samsung should release note lite with spen, headphone jack and snapdragon chip now. what sd chipset you want?
for the note 22 lite.
phones usually comes with 695/690, it has an headphone jack
Somehow, i still prefer samsung design. It look more like a tablet with almost 4:3 ratio unlike others foldable phones which are too squareish.

Will see if this or next year we will have true competition on folding phones in global scale.
Would like to buy Xiaomi next gen folding phone but probably will be China only.

Under 8" makes it an unnecessary purchase, since most flagships are 7" on average. I'd rather get a Lenovo Legion for reading and keep something more portable on my pocket
I guess I won't be buying one then. I was really holding out for the S-Pen silo. :(
I'd rather see a Z Flip with a slot for the s-pen, even when the stylus becomes a bit smaller because of available space. Personally I favour a foldable like a clamshell rather than a foldable as the Z Fold series. Today's smartphones are huge, so to fold a huge smartphone and make it pocketable is ideal, add the s-pen and it'll be the ideal Note for me.
Under 8 inch for an internal screen makes no sense. You sacrifice mobility and phone usability for what? A -still- tiny screen?
8 inches should be minimum, or better yet a selection between 8 and 10 (if a tri fold future ever comes).
The tech is 10 years too early. Extremely niche for a tiny amount of people... Reminds me of VR. Took a jump and then stayed there for a solid decade basically...
Dometalican, 19 Apr 2022....but why though? You're going to have to buy a protective case just to store the stylu... moreBecause they need to be thinner than regular phones. It isn't rocket science to figure that out.
My z fold 3 battery drains like crazy, screen is not smooth, cameras are just okay. The only thing good is the screen.
Seriously. Samsung over promises and under delivers. None of these phones are exciting
....but why though? You're going to have to buy a protective case just to store the stylus?
Also, thinner. Hoo boy....this better not come with a smaller battery. If Xiaomi can pack a 5,000mAH battery into theirs, Samsung better do the same. None of the Folds have good battery life and they better know this.
Samsung should release note lite with spen, headphone jack and snapdragon chip now.
Fun fact: Samsung even released notebooks with an S pen silo. That pen is the same as what you can find on a Note.
