I updated to Android 12 only couple days ago on 4a. It looks so much worse and seems way slower. Greenify doesn't work as it should, fingerprint scanner to open screen is slower. Absolute dung. 2K22 and STILL can't give the option for simple customisation, apart from colour of time..

I bet it doesn't fix half the problems with this device. Such a regret getting the pixel 6 pro, from constant software bugs to literal missing features like face unlock. the fingerprint is still slow and not as responsive as it should be either. double tap for screenshot needs serious work aswell (either not responsive or super high responsiveness so captures screenshots randomly). Such a shame, thought Google had sorted their problems out with their pixel line, obviously not.

Whether there is even anything to update or not. So there was securty issue found on 8th and you'll wait till next 5th guaranteed until the fix is sent to users unless it's really super critical and Google breaks the schedule. iOS might get the update just 3 days later as it's not fixed to any date for releases. And that's how it's working.

Google always gets the updates on 5th of ever... moreBecause god forbid releasing updates when they are needed and not in some forced artificial schedule. Also you used Apple to complain over updates delivery... Literally the only company in the world with best updates delivery. When update is out, it's out for ALL devices in ALL regions at once and they provide them for up to 8 years after device release. Maybe this doesn't relate to Pixel phones specifically, but all other non Pixel Android phones are an absolute nightmare to update with its idiotic seeding across regions with weeks of delay between them.

Google always gets the updates on 5th of every month , Apple gets random, whenever, you don't know when you are going to get the update. Even when you get the update,it's a useless anyway because you can't do anything with the iPhones anyway ( I had three iPhones), no wonder the iPhones are girls favourite phones.

Not even google itself can provide timely updates on their devices, so much so that they like to copy everything apple does and they don't copy how punctual ios is when it comes to updating
