If people keep praising the Redmi Note 8 Pro with it's Helio G90T, it's better to praise this phone for it's superior Dimensity Chipset. There are still custom roms for them just a bit limited and not everyone uses custom roms only a niche group

Endless chase for better Xiaomi phone continues. Some aspects look interesting (looks, charging ... ), overall offer changes nothing about choice I've already made. Happy to not joining Xiaomi club.

GSMArena, where exactly is realme gt neo 2, 450 euros? It can be had on amazon for 310 euros, and even slightly cheaper at less legitimate retailers. That's a big lapsus I'm afraid.
Gt neo 3 will be priced give or take the same as the most expensive 11pro +, so no excuse getting the xiaomi I'm afraid, with a chipset that offers half the performance of the mediatek 8100.
Last year, xiaomi got ahead of realme, this year, its the other way around so far.

I'm seriously considering the Note 11 Pro+ 5G over the A53. Major respect to Xiaomi for keeping the 3.5mm jack and in box accessories.
I think that all us fans of these features {especially 3.5mm jack) should boycott Samsung for ignoring us and rather get the xiaomi, which is also much cheaper and seems to have better specs.

Honestly, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is the best deal. Chipset, cameras, battery, charging, display and design are very solid. Except, the only thing that's stopping me from buying Xiaomi again is MIUI.

None of the above as the non + model, the Poco X4 Pro / Note 11 Pro 5G is the way to go. Snapdragon 695 will hopefully get custom ROM development where as the dimensity won't.

Not only they are inferior in some aspects to the previous but the came out with android 11… DOA.
