Yes, I admit there are too many Redmi Note 11s, it's hard to keep track of, but I can still choose the best Redmi for me, based on specs I need. For example, I need a high refresh rate Oled screen, and a decently fast cpu, but also a bit compact. Hence I will get RN 11S.

xiaomi international division has to find a new manager for naming their devices as it confuses even their long time fans, they got models different to china models but also models identical to china models with different names, but it appear to work some how, market wise.

One important reson is 'India's anti dumping laws' where the government don't want Chinese manufacturers to price/sell any phone below its Chinese price. This law was introduced to reduce dependency/total domination of market by a undemocratic country that have strong intention to keep grabbing lands/ countries lying near it.

Xiaomi customers are, poor people for whom 20 bucks makes a difference, at least in a poor man's mindset it does. When you poor, you don't think rationally, you only think in terms of savings, even if they are minimal.. You're comparing hyundai i10 buyers with ferrari buyers..

For at least half the world's population, that's all that they can afford sadly. 99: of the commentaries here have never owned and can't afford a flagship phone, hence drooling here.. Its like in anything in life, you drool over what you can't have.. Its just sad that so many people can't afford something evidently important in every day life that only costs 1000 dollars. We're not talking farraris here or million dollar homes. It's thousand bucks over few years for God's sake.. Just sad, how half the world lives unfortunately :((

Great article! I'm not sure why people bother buying these phones. With so many phones released each year Xiaomi doesn't care for updating most of them on time or beyond 1 year. That's just bad for the consumer, environment and industry. Samsung, Google or even Apple are the only mid-range phones to consider. STOP buying these poorly supported Chinese phones!
