Olympus Oms, 18 Mar 2022900$ isn't cheap for the biggest nord 2.The 8/128GB Nord2 costs about £399 here, and the topped out 12/256GB one is £469 - which when translated to USD is not $900, it's about $610.
The reason why it could be that expensive is because I don't think the Nord2 was released in the US, so people in the US would have to import it from other countries.
But even then, I don't think anyone would want to spend an extra $300 on importing the phone from wherever you got that price from.

It's not a budget phone, it's a midrange like the Galaxy A53, the budget ones are the Nord N100 and N200.
Power users will prefer the Nord 3 over the Galaxy A53, but the Samsung gives more in the overall package.

The S21 FE was already smaller than the Nord 2, but are you sure you notice these mm in real life?

Olympus Oms, 18 Mar 2022Did you read the specs of this one? Obviously not. The Dimensity 8100 is cheap, it doesn't have Cortex-X2 nor Cortex-A710 cores and it's still on ARM v8.
How could a phone with 8 MP ultra wide, 2 MP whatever, no wireless charging, a 1080p display, USB 2.0, probably a plastic frame be the price of the S22 Ultra? the Nord 3 won't get past 500$.

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2022It's not about the screen size, it's about phone dimensions.well a lot of those 6.7-6.8 phones have a sizeable chin so its not like they are will be of the same size to the nord 2 anyway. the best example would still be the s22 plus, with a 6.5 inches screen but very minimal bezels
