It is now running on android 13 miui 14 global version
I am now stucked on August security patch level with no other updates.
Can any one tell me what is the problem?
And why I didn't receive any further security patch updates?

it's not hard to guarantee 4 years of security updates when you only update your devices every 4 or 6 months .... Never seen a phone brand with so few updates. My mi 11 ultra has only received 2 updates since i bought it a year ago .... MArketing material only

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2022Yes but I bet the A12 doesn't get 15 until 16 is already out on several other handsets. ... moreGood thing with iOS is that that isn't the case. Samsung does that weird quarterly updates thing at the end where Apple just updates everything the same. Great help to achieve that is certainly small number of phone models to maintain. Which also explains why Xiaomi has such problems. They vomit out even more phones than Samsung does. It's impossible to maintain them all in any good capacity.
