And if you want compare them compare with Mi 11 which are from same year and cost way less.
Mi 11 ultra now can be bought from like 600 and is way better in every aspect than Iphone 13 pro max.
Same does for other Mi 11 series.
Stop making your self dumb.
If you really want to compare MI 12 series with apple devices use adeqate thus 2022 models which will be Iphone 14.
You cant compare brand new phones with ones 8 months old which cost way less from innitial pricing back in september / october.

Xiaomi was wrong from the beginning by offering a selling price that was almost the same as COP ( so-called 5% profit margin) when they targeted the western market or other global markets.
To compensate for the profit, they imply ads on their phone. But people do not really appreciate that and claim it as "Spyware."
Once they remove the ads, the cost needs to be compensated back to their profit margin.
Furthermore, the European market has an extra 20% VAT, which will be tough for Xiaomi to maintain the lower price point without ads implied.
Pricing in other Asian markets looks good so far because the new Xiaomi 12 is cheaper than the last year's Mi11.
Not sure in the future....

So let's compare the prices since you claim iPhones are more expensive: i can find iPhone 13 Pro for 950-980€ and Xiaomi's top flagship now is 1,000€ so it may seem a small difference but we're comparing Xiaomi to a seriously large company. Also prices for Xiaomi 12 series are too much, they are known for being ,,unstable" in case of software stability and sometimes hardware too. I would understand if they putted for 12 Pro - 799€,12 - 699€ and 12X - 599€.
