I have twice dropped it on the road while riding my bike. The screen and the body wasn't affected at all.

DSA, 23 Feb 2022Cheap will always be cheapOnePlus is far from cheap since 5, and it peaked at 7T. After that it all going down hills. Now with the internal merge and discontinue of OxygenOS, I'm surprised there is people still interested in the brand. Whatever it helped built-up the brand has all but being lost.

When comes to bend tests nothing beats Apple 6 and 6 plus.
I cant remember a phone which ended worse maybe Z fold and Flexpai but thats it.
Still i love Oneplus devices over any other brand. Especialy Samsung Apple or Sony which are nothing just costly gimmicks.

Before you say Zack is biased, he had given all previous Oneplus phones good ratings. The 10 Pro is just that poorly built.

The only issue here is that a hand bend test is not consistent and cannot be taken as proof of anything. Unless a standard rig with load sensors is used, we simply have no idea of the force involved other than that Jerry can apply it.
The Oneplus may well be weak but this is not proof one way or the other.

Theres probably as much force being applied there as there would be if it was in a pocket and you bent over or accidentally sat on it. Its embarrassing and an extremely valid test. Do you not remember the iphone 6 fiasco of it bending in peoples pockets? Thats realistically why a bend test is important forehead

The Oneplus's main stress component, it's frame broke under only light bending. For a supercar to fail in the magnitude of the Oneplus 10 Pro, you will need the supercar's chassis to bend while going through bumpy roads with 2 people sitting inside. You don't see a Ferrari chassis got bent after going through potholes, do you?
Don't let your fanboyism for Oneplus cloud your ability to think and reason.

This is just what everyday stress should look like and if a phone fails a bend test, that's a bad sign for its' durability, even in "real life" scenarios. Stop making excuses
