today in Indonesia the Redmi 10 2022 has been released, on Instagram xiaomi.indonesia has announced it.

The newer version will only have a different sim slot, Redmi 10 2022 isn't a real release, the real (re)release will be soon.

I was hoping this would be a successor to the 9t/9 power with the specs of redmi with upgraded battery. Guess I'll hold on for another year 😂 or less in Xiaomis release strategy.

It will probably come with bigger base storage. They did it too with Redmi 9C: from 4/64 to 4/128. Personally, I don't mind. I'm eyeing this for my mom, who's coming off a Redmi 6A.

Calm your horses everyone. This could be just a new production run of the old model. This isn't new in any industry. Automobiles have it as well. The only difference here seems to be the charger. I agree its not a major change and is kinda disappointing. But if it is the same price as the last year model or cheaper, what's the big deal??!
For snowflakes crying over why they are calling it 2022 edition. You all would throw a hissy fit if they released it with a new name. Admit it. So calling it a 2022 edition makes more sense. Calling it the Redmi 10 22W edition or something would have made more sense but I am no marketing person, so there's that.
