LucaKirani, 06 Feb 2022What makes it useless? limited and complicated software. even more expensive than properly smooth flagships.

The monochrome sensor improves fine detail rendering and reduces noise, especially in low light. It also helps with depth estimation for the simulated bokeh effect.

I want
I would probably have upgraded to this if this one have the Kirin 9000 chip, I don't personally liked the Snapdragon 888 last year.
Hopefully the Mate 50 pro will have the next generation Kirin as I find the Chip very decent.
I think Huawei nailed it the best they could. However, I am also concerned for the aspects of phone; Huawei manages to impress with their cameras, like always, but flops in the face of performance and battery. Both of these aspects used to be top-notch with the P30 and P40. I frankly would want to import a Chinese P50 Pro with a Kirin 9000 chip and HarmonyOS, as battery and throttling would largely be solved with those components compared to the SD888 and Android 11.
I remember the tests that were made on HarmonyOS-powered P50 Pros; it was fluid, fast, and had incredible battery life that comfortably beat every Android competitor but couldn't match the iPhone. And remembering back to the Mate 40 Pro, the Kirin 9000 would make dip to 50% when overheating, but didn't do this consistently and would offer 85-100% performance for most of the time. Overall, Huawei disappoints in comparison to older generations. And I frankly am all for letting Huawei rest on their laurels and make a better successor in the future.
Tests on the Kirin 9000 results are from GSMArena's review of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. HarmonyOS-powered P50 Pro battery tests are from Technick's channel.
No google..its s.u.cks..even in.low price
No one can say to me, this camera setup is better than P40 pro and not even compare to + version. A phone re-released after 6 months even poorly then before. What the * to do with a B/W senzor ? Is the same as having a 2mp depth.
Despite all efforts to curb it, Huawei proves yet again to be a force to be reckoned with.
