If you absolute crank the settings to ultra even snapdragon gen 2 phones will have 99% gpu usage on permanent whole running the game. My rog phone 7 is on permanent 51 degrees on the game which is very unhealthy for the battery and not to mention constant frame drops when u hit above 50celcius

my output fan stopped working today but the intake fan works weirdly the cooling is working better instead of worse .. weird so idk if j should complain it b happy I'd reach 47 streaming with both fans but inky 32 Mac normal 38 39 with just the intake fan may take it to the shop to see if they xab fix the fan but idk maybe not lok

Normal phones are just not good enough it's like asking a PC gamer why he needs a gpu when intel graphics is still able too run the game
Too android gamers this is there pc with all there game library on it
it also just so happens it has there sim card in it and make calls text etc and is both a portable gaming device and there smartphone they carry around
it's a really good thing games are optimized on android too run on older phones so no one miss out and is unable too play at all
lets keep it this way and always complain if a game don't have potato graphics settings for old phones low end devices and even potato phones

Heavily Games like mobile legends & league of legends wild rift need a phone with a cooling fan in order too stay cool for many hours of none stop competitive gaming
warframe mobile & Destiny mobile if it happens are going need at least a cooling fan might even need full custom loop water cooling system on a phone
I have used budget mid reach and even flagship phones
but gaming phones are on another level there a full head and shoulders above better and are built from the ground up too game and be the best at it for gamers just like why a gamer buy a gaming laptop over a normal laptop

While the evolution is fascinating, and I'm looking forward to see it in action, name one mobile game that needs so much power. One.
Maybe if a developer really tries hard to make a really demanding heavy game for really powerful phones, then we can have a talk. But until then these phones are useless.
Even my XZ Premium runs all the latest games with reasonable frame rates. So if a phone from 2017 can run the latest games, why on Earth should I buy this phone Lenovo?
I guess I'm going to need the fans for the summer right?

Will never by phone from lenovo again. I got their last years flagship and a year later still no update, the thing heat up like crazy without the fan turned on. On top of that it can't be customized with launchers.
