The fact that these eggheads can brag about "ray-tracing" on a 6 inch toy, WHILE those flagship gpus can barely do full ray tracing at 30 frames, it just shows how tone deaf and blind they are.
Wanna get a phone to last years and have amazing battery life?
Too bad, you have even less capacity now! And no, I doubt Samsung will pull a note 8 again, that legend's optimisation on a 3300mah battery beating s8 plus's 3500mah, was a MIRACLE. Yeah, that was five years ago though :(
Other than that, it's the same phone every year. Nothing special.
Also, I can't blame samsung entirely, people are hyped over something that is straight imaginary and utopian. It's like taking a 1000hp engine, slam it on a Mini Cooper or some small lightweight car, and rev the SH*T out of it, only to find out: WOW it overheats, WOW, it is way too powerful, WOW it is so hard to use it! You really need three master degrees just to understand how physics and real life works???
Or you still trust the same company who said
"WE'RE BENDING THE LAWS OF PHYSICS"

Even if the new chips of Exynos 2200, SD 8 Gen 1, and Dimensity 9000 all brought great GPUs, or even added an Nvidia RTX whatever
The question I would like to ask to whoever knows better:
Can good 3D games really perform well if Android OS doesn't support new Open GL, Vulkan, or even any directX versions ?
Also:
Can these new GPUs support Nvidia Shield games if ported to them?

Yeah I'm not denying that but what I'm saying is that whatever performance gain you'd get from turning on airplane mode is insignificant and the increase in benchmark score you'd get is little to none. Again he also had wifi turned on so the only( one of) wireless connections that turned off was his cellular connectivity

This can also be proven in real world, as there are still many people who are interested to pick up an iPhone 11 because of its very good performance even in 2022, but I don't see anyone still wanting to have a Galaxy Note 10+ because of top-tier performance in this same year and time. Anyway I hope that is clear enough.

You just added a different aspect of discussion for performance, but it really did not change the validity of the statement.
2. Sorry I don't quite understand that. Regardless, the Airplane Mode still helps improve the performance by shutting off any background processes due to lack of network connectivity.

I seriously don't get where you're going with this discussion. If you want a Nokia 3310 and only want to play Snake on it, you can buy a Nokia 3310 and only play Snake. The same as you can buy a Commodore 64 and only play 8-bit games, if that is your thing. The rest of us definitely want the best tech, graphics and features on a new thousand buck mobile device.
