It looks like Huawei now!
PirJamba, 11 Jan 2022Yuk... So ugly. Is Xiaomi management blind? Such a huge camera bump!If the picture and video quality get better quality from the brilliant Mi 11U even P50 Pro, I think it's ok. The big question here, where's the second display on the back? Is it gone?
Hi
kamera ıs upp stig, and The designer needs jail and the model is so disgusting.
Anonymous, 06 Jan 2022Well said words. If I really about camera, I'd buy a DSLR or Mirrorless camera instead.Such stupid words. If you don't care about specs, you won't be interested in buying a flagship phone in the first place.
super thick, remind me with lumia 1020
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2022When you use auto mode, shutter speed will change according to the environmental conditions ,... moreYes. But in auto mode with HDR turned off there is still a huge difference between phones in the same environmental conditions. Some will need to open the shutter longer to get a good quality picture. Definitely the sensor has an effect on this. A larger sensor takes in more light so shouldn't need to open the shutter for as long in similar environments to let in a similar amount of light. The phones with the fastest shutter speed I've used in the past are Huawei ones with RYYB sensors that take in more light. I maintain my point. If you shoot in auto mode with different sensors in the same environment there will be a large difference with phones using different sensors. Yes, you can go into manual mode and adjust the shutter speed. The results tend to degrade more quickly though for phones with cheaper sensors that need to take in more light.
Just found a piece of interesting news from NotebookCheck about the 12 Ultra. It seems that it may never happen at all*.

AnonD-1030868, 05 Jan 2022How 12 pro is good when it's a downgraded 11 pro with 2 stupid JN1 sensors? Those so-called "stupid" sensors are way bigger than the sensor from the Mi 11 Pro's ultrawide and telephoto camera.

Why taking paracetamol on top of another's man headache.99% of us actually can do without getting the best camera in phones tech today..yet it seems the phones with the biggest cam sensors are the best(it like I have it or die)
and at the end same people will be the ones complaining of buggy and outdated softwares.
..pls be wise it's your money (an all round phone will always be the best no matter it's rank in gsmarena).
BigDisplay, 05 Jan 2022There wil not be any mi 12 ultra. Mix 5 and Mix 5 Pro will the ones, looks promising... A lot. "Be the ones"
it will be ultra ugly
Aierlan, 05 Jan 2022I am not talking about shutter lag but shutter speed and yes the sensors do seem to affect it.... moreWhen you use auto mode, shutter speed will change according to the environmental conditions , the software processing and lenses (aperture, angle etc) ..
Phones that heavily rely on HDR and stack most frames of negative exposure will often use shutter faster than 1/5000s , this is why the deep blue sky on photos taken by samsung.
All these phones that bring manual mode, you can set shutter from 1/8000s to 30-32s.
On auto, some phone can even use 1/12000 or 1/25000s.
Nothing related to sensor.
Problem related to poor performance while taking photos of action is simple.
Image stacking is not made for motion, just static subjects.
Frames need to be equal to be stacked, otherwise they show misaligment.
You need to disable HDR before taking photos of motion subject.
There wil not be any mi 12 ultra.
Mix 5 and Mix 5 Pro will the ones, looks promising... A lot.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra don't exist. He will be remplaced by Xiaomi Mix 5 and Mix 5 Pro
AnonD-1030868, 05 Jan 2022Sure Mr. blind https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=10816&idPhone2=11287#diff-Baby. Actual photo comparison.
