The older Xperia 5.2" screens and the 6.5" Xperia 3 screens are same 65mm wide. These numbers are just to make you fo*ol

If 30W is bad for the battery, then 200W is even worse lol.

actually charging with high power is not really needed for a smartphone. because it will also affect battery life. I think charging 40w or 65w is enough.

sohail shafayat, 02 Dec 2021Why are they running after the charging speed?I guess it gives them a sort of identity from hundreds of different models that are becoming a standard in the mobile industry. When this phone is released, we should have at least 5-6 phones that will have the same or almost identical in terms of specs, so yes, a 165 w charging would really let them stand out.

With price around 500 or 600 it could be best flagship on market.

It's just pure jealousy for what they can't have.

From 5Ah to 4Ah is a big downgrade, battery capacity is more important than charging speed.
Not only, it determines how long you can have your phone ON while no power is available.
But also, a battery life is determined by a full charge + discharge cycle, so you get much more lifespan out of a 5Ah battery, if a 4Ah battery last 4 year before becoming too bad, a 5Ah will last 5 years, and you'll have extra capacity meaning that even at 5 years you'll probably still have as much effective capacity than the 4Ah one.

I am not saying they shouldn't put fast charging, but clearly they shouldn't downgrade the battery.

And your battery will last 6 months before you need a new one.
