The amou... moreYou are right but mediatek phones have wayyyy less support for custom ROMs, there are way less custom ROMs made for phones with Mediatek SOCs and they are usually way buggier because of the closed source of the Mediatek SOCs

The amount of people that either have the technical acumen or interest in custom roms is minute. Plus, the redmi note 8 plus has a helio G90T and custom Roms have been built for that.

I tried at least 5 or 6 phones with amoled screens and i just could not get used to them.
Menaged to keep Mi 11 lite 5g for about 2 weeks and had to sell it.
My eyes just don't like amoled, simple as that.
It is good to have a choice
