Motorola announced it and submitted FCC documentation substantiating the announcement. SoC mobile platform vendors generally do not announce the inclusion of a particular chipset in an upcoming mobile device.

Even Samsung is planning to use some Unisoc cpus to cover demand.
Although yeah, Samsung, Moto and Nokia don't really follow the business model of Chinese companies, offering brand new high specs.

Just like HMD that is using only sd480 with high price just cause of stock android and brand name. Moto is even worse as there prices are high for old and slow hardware. Like 200-250 for 720p screen phone that have Helio G37. At least have something G80-95 in them and it would at least make a bit sense in this price.
I just sacrifice the stock android and get AMOLED screen and better cpu for the same money from other brands. Like seriously what is good with stock android on low end specs ? Update your android that makes the phone slower cause new android take more resource from hardware. If the phone is well optimized to run on first android it have installed on with some custom skin then it be fine for long time. Apps you install will get slower in time cause these get updated too for newer hardware. Stock android and if it gets 2-3 android updates it makes sense if the phone hardware will be something top end of SD6xx-8xx Or higher class other cpu brands that get around 400-500k antutu score

Most of the chipsets they use are either old or weak mediatek. How the hell are they expecting people to buy their phones??? stock android is already a win win for them, they just need to pair it with some competitive specs and pricing.
