2. No you said the display being an AMOLED was great. That means you think they're great.
3. Not for no reason. LCDs are objectively worse than OLEDs.

3. While I wouldn't care if my phone had amoled or lcd. I would care if someone just started to hate on lcd for no reason

And no I notice better whites on m... moreI literally said "my personal experience" just as you're stating yours. From what I've seen OLEDs often have clearly yellowish whites while IPS LCD has closer to true whites although its whites generally have some blue tint.
And sure, I'll enjoy my lack of dark mode. I really, really hate dark mode.

They have god better contrast, blacks that's right. But the disadvantages. Often LCD have better colors due to oled being too vivid. Oled also really destroys ur eyes due to flickering issues. And it is brighter yep that's right. But that's about it? Also as far as I know most LCD phones have higher endurance than OLED phones (depends on chop but if we take into consideration for like same chip different model and different display. And same battery. Btw alot of people have burn in issues maybe you lucky you didn't have em.

And no I notice better whites on my K40's display than on my LCD monitor. (GN34C) On my LCD, whites seem to be tinted ever so slightly blue or yellow, whereas on my K40 I notice zero tint when holding them side by side at the same brightness.
I additionally have seen a fair few complaints about whites and greys appearing blue in gsmarena display tests on LCDs.
Oh also have fun burning your eyes with no dark mode. You're in the minority.

They've got way better co... moreMy personal experience is that OLED is only more power efficient with darker colours; with brighter colours it's less efficient. And OLED generally has worse whites, too. I know a lot of people like dark mode but I don't like it.

Dudenoway, 18 Nov 2021Lcd screen is suporior to amoled in many cases execpt for brightness and blacks. Dude, in all the cases that matter, OLEDs are better than LCDs. They've got way better contrast, much better blacks, higher contrast, better colors and much better power efficiency. I don't see why you people keep preaching about LCDs when I can't come up with a single superior thing about them, other than the OLED burn-in that I've never experienced. I've had LCDs get images burnt into them somehow, but never an OLED. My old LG V10 had burn in and so did an old Kindle of mine.

The vanilla edge 30 looks a lot better in my opinion, especially if there will be a big price gap between these two.

The Edge S30 sounds interesting. I almost can't believe they where actually put a 10x optical zoom on that phone.
