Such a waste.
Ordinary bar phone is far more durable and usefull.
Also for a much less price can retain same specs as foldable one and bigger battery.
Dont want to be rude but invention of foldable touch phones and curved screens was the worst innovation samsung ever made.

Samsung have all but perfected the technology in their foldable screens at this point, now its about refinements, I am all on board for a flip phone when the internals match flagship specs, the Z flip 3 looks and feels great in hand and when fully opened you cant even see the crease, of course you can feel it slightly but its a part of folding screens, personally they should increase the size of the phone a bit, bigger battery, and upgrade the camera to a flagship and you have a winner, at the moment its just a little bit short of a fantastic phone, same with the fold, that device needs better ergonomics all around, the best folding phone/tablet currently is the huawei mate x2, with its sloped edges, that thing is a slick designed device, shame is not available

And if you're talking about the code under the hood that's contributing to bad battery life, Samsung optimizes the code on top for optimum battery and performance (sometimes leans towards battery life). Though your Flip may have poor battery life (When you want a beauty, you have to let go of the beast. Sometimes you get both) ;)

I still doubt if Samsung can lower the price of their foldable smartphone despite the production increase. If the screen itself costs a lot of money to repair, what kind of hope is there for an affordable foldable smartphone anyway.

The big big downfall for them is price. They just keep getting more and more expensive. I know so many people who want the latest Samsung phones but have to reconsider after looking at the price.

It won't break but it will feel uncomfortable... Just like other big screen phones that I owned before. So apparently sitting on a sofa with my phone on my pocket is not a deal breaker for me. Having a gorgeous big screen for surfing, reading a book, watching media or working weights heavier on my scales

I don't think it is a good idea.they might be the chances of going in to loss, let me tell make your semi brand and then try to make a sexy designs and hard performing at the lower price.if you do improve these things in your product than you will be the top seller.

Bigger cover display? Razr 5G already covers that.
Better battery life? It will be better but I doubt much better. It's not like they can pack 4000 mAh when it's a clamshell that needs to be thin when unfolded.
Snapdragon 898? From what I'm reading, it's not much of an improvement from 888.
I feel like I'm set for a few years. And it seems to me Android 12 is awful. I'm planning to keep my Flip 3 on 11 forever like I kept my Pixel 3 and Essential Phone forever on 9.

With the galaxy S series selling less and less every year I doubt samsung will manufacture more S22 series phones than S21. I think this news is for marketing purposes. By leaking info saying that Samsung is making more S22 phones than S21 phones, it is trying to increase interest on S22 phones.

It even has more RAM and a better display, since the iPhone has 60 hz screen which is just outdated
