Also, I thought ARM claimed a 30% YoY performance increase for chipsets(not their individual cores) with ARMv9.
Is that simply not true or something?

We were on ARMv6 from 2002 to 2005. (think Symbian)
Then we hopped on ARMv7 from 2006 to 2010. (think iPhoneOS)
Then switched to ARMv8 platform since 2011 to 2015. (think Droid)
We've been on ARMv8.x platform since 2016 to 2021. (think Modern iOS 7/Android 5)
...Now we're switching to ARMv9 platform in 2022 to likely stay for another 10 years.

You may simply not trust mediatek because of the reputation of the past, but you should trust TSMC, which produced Dimensity 2000, since Qualcomm you should trust Samsung???

My Flip 3 doesn... moreQualcomm cares mostly about money, they don't care if their SoC is the best or the worst, they can cheapen out on everything as long as the chip sales are good. They went for Samsung 5nm because is cheaper and didn't stick to better TSMC 7nm+ node because of marketing (7nm worse then 5nm).
